Poorly manufactured gas cooktop

We received this gas cooktop as part of the preselected items for our new home Although the burners work as intended I would not have selected this particular model due to the following issues The materials do not seem to be of the highest quality such as the drip pan area which is quite thin and susceptible to dents and scratches The cooktop is difficult to clean such as in the knob area If the knobs are removable I cant tell because they dont pull off easily Rather I feel like I am going to break them if I try to pull too hard The grates are cumbersome If I move them in the wrong way when attempting to clean the unit they will scratch the thin drip pan areaOverall I am not happy with this gas cooktop

Poor workmanship

The gas cooktop works well but the metal area around each of the burners is thin and scratches easily I would not have selected this cooktop if I had been able to choose my appliances for this house When I think of gas cooktops I believe they should be sturdy way to clean and convenient to use This cooktop is none of these things

Very cheap knobs - Knob broke in 8 months

I was surprised to find out that the Knob was very cheaply made The knob of the high flame burner broke which is the most used burner I was in a little panick for few minutes as I was unsure if the gas was Off or not
