This 36-inch stainless steel ventilation hood allows you to hide ductwork underneath kitchen cabinets. Electronic controls include LED lights that display settings. The powerful, 4-speed motor includes a boost setting to help effectively remove steam from most ranges and cooktops.

585 CFM

provides powerful airflow to match the high performance of commercial-style ranges and rangetops. This hood can be installed with a 585 CFM motor (sold separately).

585 CFM Motor Class Ventilation System

Completes your kitchen with ventilation to match the performance of conventional ranges and cooktops.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

Perimeter Ventilation

Pairs with any 30-inch and 36-inch range or cooktop with a total burner output up to 65,000 BTU

If you like non bulky hoods this is for you It looks great in my kitchen

I bought this vent It works Its very loud which is fine However the buttons are no longer readable see photo I dont understand why KitchenAid would use painted letters on top of plastic that would obviously wear off I have no idea how those would be changed out or if they can be changed out Also the glass lenses that protect the halogen lights have a horrible clip that holds them in place Because they are glass lenses you have to be very careful not to break the glass which isnt easy given the amount of force necessary to replace the lenses after changing the bulb Be prepared to change these every 2 years
