Features
This 3-speed vent hood has power to effectively vent an output of up to 65K BTUs. Auto speed sensing keeps the vent at the proper fan speed by sensing the amount of heat coming from the cooktop. This 30-inch wall-mount canopy hood has both LED and halogen lights to brighten almost any work area.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

Perimeter Ventilation

Pairs with any 30-inch and 36-inch range or cooktop with a total burner output up to 65,000 BTU

Power Boost Function

Assists high-heat cooking by activating maximum fan speed for five minutes to help quickly clear smoke and steam. This function turns on automatically if the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners and can also be activated manually.

Good Product. Horrible Customer Service Policy

Product itself is good but Whirlpool customer service is one of the worst Purchased the product and had it delivered at a later date They consider the unit an appliance which I was told otherwise when I made the purchase So make sure you get it delivered asap and inspect it right away When it came time to install the unit the 2 piece vent cover had damage and didnt align properly Home depot sent me to Whirlpool and Whirlpool refused to send replacement part The most unbelievable reason they gave me is that their policy allows cosmetic replacements within 30 days from purchase date and not delivery date which is beyond belief Where are those policies available when someone is making a purchase and you would never think about it because its unheard of at least for me So lesson learned across the board

Beautiful and looks awesome The only reason why I do not give a 5 starthe black stainless steel scratches way to easy be careful and wear gloves when installing
