I was doubtful when salesman said this was very quiet as my current one was so loud we could not hear the TV however he was absoutely right its so quiet I didnt think it was working love it

I would have rated this a 5 Star except the disposal is loud when running I was very disappointed as my kitchen is in an open area and all the reviews that I read talked about how amazingly quiet this particular disposal is I had it installed by a licensed plumber Not sure why mine is so loud Other than that I love the features and so far it works great

I bought this garbage disposal three months ago and now it is not functioning Extremely disappointed in not only the disposal but Kitchenaids customer service I tried their live chat only for Megan to tell me she had to transfer me and then the chat was dropped DO NOT BUY
