Black stainless is gorgeous Tons of space LOVE IT

When you open up the ice maker inside the freezer it does not want to close correctly

Stopped working after 2 months Researched the internet and provided documentation Found NOTHING related to the problem or the red cooling message displayed on the control panel Repairman arrived after losing all our food only to push two buttons to fix it THIS FIX IS NOT DISCUSSED ANYWHERE Unacceptable

I purchased a Whirlpool because I wanted to buy an American made appliance The design and color are greatUnfortunately thats about it The fit and finish on this fridge is terrible I had to take a black Sharpie marker and color in all the yellow foam coming from the door seams and smeared on the black rubber door seal to make it look like it should have from the factory There are also abstract shapes that press through the back wall of the fridge looks terrible but food being in there hides them And now after about a month of owning it we notice that things placed in the back of the fridge freeze and it has started making annoying loud noises when it runs I can understand the noise from the ice maker since it is right up front on this model but the compressor shouldnt sound like an old Volkswagen diesel A friend who works locally at Whirlpool warned me about the quality and told me to get the higher priced KitchenAid but I said I shouldnt have to pay over 3k to get a basic refrigerator that doesnt sound worse than the the 16 old Frigidaire it was replacing Guess I was wrong

Weve only had the refrigerator for about a month and a half so far it has worked out well I do like the measured water fill feature on the door that has really helped I wish the water filter was a little better quality the water still smells funny
