I purchased this refrigerator about a month ago since my old fridge started gurgling For years I have had the old metal top freezer refrigerator which had to be at least 25 years old that caked with ice monthlyWhich sometimes it would be inches thickand I did have to take a hammer to it once in awhile plus my vegetables would freeze all the time so I could not stock up on fresh foods It is so nice to have self defrost the Inside is huge for only being 28 Same with the freezer plenty of room for monthly storage I will be putting Amana on my top brand list for other appliances the temperature settings are perfect and it is energy saving a big plusI did not purchase any extra accessories due to the refrigerator is perfect for what I need I love it

My refrigerator works well but has a significant annoyance If I remove an item from inside and let the door close then try to reopen the door within several seconds the door wont open due to suction inside WHAT A PAIN
