CHECKERS AND QUEEN CITY AUDIO VIDEO & APPLIANCES JOIN FORCES FOR CHOPPED CHALLENGE

Charlotte Chopped Challenge 2023

CHARLOTTE, NC– Checkers players Mackie Samoskevich, Skyler Brind’Amour and Jake Wise will be taking part in this year’s Chopped Challenge charity cooking competition, presented by Queen City Audio Video & Appliances.

WHEN: Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
WHERE: Queen City Audio Video & Appliances located on 2430 Queen City Drive

The private event held in live Monogram, GE and Frigidaire kitchens will pair each player with a professional chef - provided by Blake Mitkoff of InsideChef – and they will each prepare a dish to present to a panel of judges comprised of local news personalities and Checkers representatives.

The winning player will receive a $5,000 donation to the charity they are representing, which are listed below:

Samoskevich – Go Jen Go

Brind’Amour – Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Wise – Humane Society of Charlotte
