Sales Terms and Conditions

Return Policy

Returns and cancellations are subject to a restocking fee. All requests for returns and exchanges must be processed within 7 days of purchase or possession of merchandise is taken. Special Order Items cannot be returned or exchanged. Gift cards and/or Store Credits are non-returnable/non-refundable. Labor, Haul Aways, and/or Installation services are non-returnable/non-refundable once completed.

All cash or check refunds are processed by the Queen City Audio Video & Appliances controller office and may take up to 21 days to receive by mail. Credit card refunds will be applied to the original credit card used for purchase.  If this is a financed purchase, customer acknowledges that it is pursuant and subject to terms and conditions of the buyers Finance Agreement with seller.

Home Appliances, Electronics, Mattresses, and Furniture are non-refundable/non-returnable if merchandise has been opened or used. Open box items are non-refundable/non-returnable if merchandise has been used. Ventilation, ventilation parts, or ventilation accessories are all considered special order items.

 

Customer Pickup/Delivery Protocol - Open and Inspect

All pickups and deliveries are subject to our open and inspect policies to ensure damage free product is given to our customers.

The products subject to open and inspect are not limited to the following:

  • All Laundry
  • All Ranges in Cardboard boxes
  • All Freezers/Refrigerators in Cardboard boxes
  • All Dishwashers in Cardboard boxes
  • Any additional suspect packaging
  • Any product/manufacturers with a high rate for concealed damage

Should a customer refuse this service, you have 7 days to contact us regarding defects, damage, or other issues. Please call (704) 391-6000 Option 4 for assistance.

These pictures may need to be reviewed by the manufacturer as well.

Pricing and Specifications
Errors in pricing and/or specifications may occur. We reserve the right to correct any such errors, up to and including canceling any orders placed at an incorrect price.

Purchasing Restrictions
We reserve the right to limit quantities of any product purchase. While we work hard to maintain accurate inventories, products showing in stock may require order delays based on manufacturers ability to produce and/or ship.


Delivery Terms and Instructions

Drop Off Delivery: Unit is simply dropped off at the specified location in carton to the first floor. It is the customer's responsibility to open and inspect the item for concealed damage claims within 7 days. Please call (704) 391-6000 Option 4 for assistance.

Deliver and Uncrate: This is drop off delivery plus unpacking of crate and crate removal.


Deliver and Install
: Appliance is uncrated and set in its proper location and connected to utilities. Installation requires the purchase of proper install materials and appropriate install charges all appearing on the invoice. We cannot install with parts not purchased at Queen City Audio Video and Appliance.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Before you accept delivery of any merchandise, please inspect it. If any issue exists, you may refuse the delivery. Once you have accepted delivery or taken possession of the merchandise, you have 7 days to contact us regarding defects, damage, or other issues. Appliance Removal Agreement
Appliance removal is done as a service to our customers and not as a profit-making function for Queen City Audio Video & Appliances. Consequently, Queen City Audio Video & Appliances does not assume liability for damage to customer’s floors, carpets, or any other property resulting from dirt, water, oil, or any other foreign material or any broken part or abnormal obtrusion in or on the appliance being removed. It is the customer’s responsibility to clean the old appliance or otherwise provide protection of carpets, floors, and other property. We are not responsible for mechanical failures of appliances not purchased under this Sales agreement, moved as an accommodation to the customer, with or without considerations.
Appliance removal is used in conjunction with the above terms and implies that the appliance is being removed by Queen City Audio Video & Appliances. The charge applies to the one appliance only, and the service does not include products which Queen City Audio Video & Appliances is not replacing, nor does it include disconnecting gas or other appliances for which we are not installing the replacement appliance.

Water Lines: Water line installation includes valve, copper line and connection to refrigerator. There will be at least 5 feet of coiled copper line behind the unit for access. Installation does not include refinishing any surface through which a water line is run.

Door Removal: Extra charges apply if a door of a unit or home must be removed to get the unit to a specified location. Make sure to share door and hallway measurements with your sales associate.


Exceptions
: Deliveries involving climbing stairs, banks, ramps, limited access dwelling will involve an extra charge

5 Year Extended Service Plan

If you do not use your extended service plan during the 5 year time period you will receive 50% credit for your warranty purchase price in the form of a Queen City Audio Video & Appliances in store credit. Credits are applied to our regular price and are valid 90 days after the expiration of the service plan.
