How long after I purchase a product can I buy the Queen City Protection Plus?

If a product has at least one-year manufacturer's parts and labor warranty, the service plan may be purchased up to nine months from the product's original date of purchase. If a product has less than one- year manufacturer's parts and labor warranty, then a service plan may be purchased within the first thirty days of the product's original date of purchase. Commercial contracts must be purchased at the same time as the product is purchased. Replacement contracts must be purchased within 30 days of the product purchase.

Do Queen City Protection Plus service plans cover items used commercially (apartment buildings, lobbies, offices, etc.)?

A commercial service plan must be purchased on any product being used outside of a single-family dwelling. If a landlord/apartment owner is purchasing a product for use in an apartment building or rent home, a commercial service plan is required. See the New Leaf Commercial Program' document for more information.

In the event a product is replaced, will the new replacement product be covered for the remainder of the service plan term?

When a product is replaced, the service plan contract is fulfilled. The customer has the option to purchase a new service plan on the new product.


Date of purchase plans begin on the date the product is purchased and continue the term of the plan. Date of Purchase plans are inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty.


Most appliances are initially covered by a factory warranty. Many concerns can be addressed quickly by calling the phone number in your owner's manual, reviewing the manufacturer’s website or by calling Queen City Customer Service at 704-391-6000, Option 4.
