What is the history of Queen City?
Queen City started as a TV repair business in 1952 by Woody Player. During the 60's we expanded in Charlotte, North Carolina by expanding with 2 locations. We then developed a Builder and Contractor aspect to the business to further the growth of the business.

During the mid-2010 we expanded in bedding and further into furniture. In 2021, Queen City added a new 104,000 sq. ft. warehouse located on Westinghouse Blvd.

During the mid-2010 we expanded in bedding and further into furniture. You can find living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and dining room furniture by browsing through our online store.

How many locations do you have? Where can we visit your stores?
Currently, we have a total of 7 locations throughout North Carolina. You can visit our appliance and mattress stores in Charlotte, Pineville, Monroe, Salisbury, Morganton, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Do you have an outlet store?

How can I tell if an item is in stock?
You can easily browse in-stock models online by selecting to refine your results by "In Stock" models in the left-hand sidebar of our website. If an item is not in-stock, how long would it take to get it?

We do not sell audio equipment for cars at this current moment.
Do you have a comparison tool on your website?
Our website does not include a comparison tool. However, you can use our request info form to get a full detailed description of our products that our team can provide you with. In addition, we often carry similar products from different brands so you can easily compare models from different manufacturers.


What are the options for delivery dates?
We offer same and next-day delivery options.

Next-day delivery is available if ordered by noon and excludes Sundays. The order must be placed in-store or by phone.

We offer free 2-day delivery, $49 for next-day delivery, and $79 for same-day delivery. These offers are valid on available refrigerators, ranges, laundry, TVs, and mattresses. Delivery within a 30-mile radius from Queen City's warehouse. Built-in appliances and items requiring installation do not apply.

What is your delivery perimeter from each store?
We deliver within a 50-mile radius of each store, but we can price for further distances. Please talk to our product specialists for more information.


What do I need to do if a product I purchase from you needs service?
If it's in the first-year manufacturer warranty, you can call factory service direct for service. You can find this information in the warranty booklet for more information. If you are unsure if your product is a part of the extended warranty, please call our customer service at 704-391-6000.
Do you have a service department that repairs your products?
