We have $25 million in local inventory at our 103,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Currently, we carry over 75 appliances, electronic, mattress, and furniture brands. Our showrooms are even equipped with live-demo kitchens.

How long have you been in business?
Since 1952, Queen City Audio Video & Appliances has proudly been serving the Greater Charlotte area. In 2022, we first opened a store in Winston-Salem and expanded into Greensboro to grow our presence in the Triad market and better serve our customers. What is the history of Queen City?
Queen City started as a TV repair business in 1952 by Woody Player. During the 60's we expanded in Charlotte, North Carolina by expanding with 2 locations. We then developed a Builder and Contractor aspect to the business to further the growth of the business.

During the mid-2010 we expanded in bedding and further into furniture. In 2021, Queen City added a new 104,000 sq. ft. warehouse located on Westinghouse Blvd.

How long have you been selling furniture?
During the mid-2010s, we expanded our offerings to include furniture and mattresses. Our Pineville store, Queen City Home Store, offers a wide selection of living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and dining room furniture. Entertainment furniture, including theater-style seating and TV stands, can be found at all our locations.
What are the hours of operation at Queen City?
Most of our stores are open 7 days a week, however, our hours of operation do vary by location.
How many locations do you have? Where can we visit your stores?
Currently, we have a total of 8 locations throughout North Carolina, plus a Regional Builder Sales location, and a corporate warehouse. You can visit us in Charlotte, Pineville, Monroe, Salisbury, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Morganton.
Do you have an outlet store?
Yes, Queen City’s outlet store is attached to our location at 2430 Queen City Drive in Charlotte. Available models change frequently, but you can easily browse some appliance outlet models online here.

How can I tell if an item is in stock?
You can easily browse by category and refine your search by selecting “in stock” at the right-hand sidebar on our website. You can also shop for all in stock models here.
If an item is not in-stock, how long would it take to get it?
In this situation, the time frame will vary on a case-by-case basis. If the product you are searching for is not currently in stock, please click on the “Request Info” button on the product’s listing page and submit the product inquiry form or reach out to one of our Product Specialists.
Why is an item shown as “In Stock,” but it’s not available
Products are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. In some cases, there may be a time delay in updating our online inventory when an item is in limited quantity and has been purchased online or in store by another customer. Please contact your local store or call us at 704-391-6000 for detail on a specific model
I don’t see the item I’m looking for on your website. Can you order it for me?
If the item you are looking for is not on our website, please contact us and we will be able to give you more information on when the item may come back in stock or if we are able to make a custom order for you.
Does Queen City sell furniture?
Yes, we sell furniture from brands such as CR Laine, Legends, Worlds Away at our Queen City Home Store in Pineville. Entertainment furniture, including theater-style seating and TV stands and mounts, can be found at all our locations.
Do you sell audio equipment for cars?
We do not sell audio equipment for cars at this current moment.

DELIVERY-RELATED QUESTIONS

Where do you deliver?
We deliver within a 50-mile radius of each store location, but we can quote you a price for further distances. Purchases can also be picked up in store or at our warehouse. We do not ship items like TVs through any third-party service. Please speak with a product specialist for more information.
What are the options for delivery dates?
We offer free delivery on all appliances $399 and up. Same Day and Next Day delivery options are available for a small fee on in stock appliances, laundry, TVs, and mattresses. Same Day and Next Day Delivery is available if ordered by noon and excludes Sundays. The order must be placed in-store or by phone. These deliveries must be within a 30-mile radius of Queen City’s warehouse. Built-in appliances and those requiring installation do not apply.

Do you offer delivery and installation?
Yes, Queen City has manufacture-trained delivery and installation teams. We also have certified customer installers for specific built-in or custom projects.
Are your installers certified?
Our installers are manufacture-trained and Queen City certified. Please call and speak to our logistics team at 704-391-600 ext. 3 for more information.
Do you install TVs and Soundbars?
We offer a variety of electronics installation solutions including full setup of TV, components, and wireless connections. Our team can also mount TVs to drywall, brick, or stone, and we can install soundbars and additional audio equipment. Contact us today or see a product specialist for details!
What is your delivery perimeter from each store?
We deliver within a 50-mile radius of each store, but we can price for further distances. Please talk to our product specialists for more information.

What do I need to do if a product I purchase from you needs service?
If your product is within the first-year manufacturer warranty period, you can call the factory service direct line for service. You can find this information in the warranty booklet given to you at your time of purchase for more information. If you purchased an extended warranty, please call the number provided on your warranty paperwork. If you still have questions, our customer service team is happy to assist.
Do you have a service department that repairs your products?
Queen City does not directly service any appliances or products. However, we do have a list of area service providers we can recommend based on your location. Please contact our customer service team for a list of local service technicians.
