Hart Appliance Center has been a long-time staple in Greensboro since 1956. Current Owner, Tom McDaniel will stay on as Store Manager.

“The change in my role will allow me to be more in front of our guests on a day-to-day basis and give me the opportunity to focus 100% on customer satisfaction. It is also an opportunity to enhance benefits for my current employees,” says McDaniel.

“With the opening of the new Queen City store in Winston-Salem, we felt like this was the perfect time to align our businesses to best serve our friends in the broader Triad market,” says Roddey Player, President & CEO of Queen City Audio Video & Appliances.

Hart Appliance Center will change their name to Queen City Audio Video & Appliances in the second quarter of 2023. The new vision for the store will be to increase showroom space to allow room for additional appliance lines as well as electronics, mattresses, and outdoor products, not previously offered. This will allow guests to have a full line of home products in one convenient location.

“Queen City brings valuable resources to support our local community including increased buying power, additional customer service support and over $25 million of in-stock inventory, so we can get our customers what they want faster,” says McDaniel.

With Queen City now managing Hart Appliance Center and with the opening of a new store in Winston-Salem, they have the delivery capacity to cover Forsyth & Gilford Counties, north into Virginia, south into Mecklenburg County and east toward Raleigh-Durham. The company also offers next-day delivery options not previously available in this area.
