Dissapointed it can be used only in high ceilings

Bought it for a 8 feet ceiling and it is to high without no option to raise it

Be careful when ordering this This is way too long for an 8 foot ceiling I had to get it trimmed down to accommodate a low ceiling and that was difficult to find someone who could do the job properly This is better suited for a 910 ceiling height Had to get two light fixtures replaced soon after it was installed The clearance from the countertop is 30 inches after 8 inches was trimmed off

while this vent hood looks great great features the installation was very difficult It would be very helpful if the designers would take an opportunity to actually install this unit themselves I had the hood installed by a Best Buy professional

I love it Its much quieter than my old one It is lower than I would like but its ashigh as it would go with our ceilings
