This is a replacement. So far I love the new features. Lighting. More space. Ice bin.

I bought this with the purchase of a new home

This unit went into a RV. It has everything we wanted and then some.

We bought this version because it had the larger refrigerator and smaller freezer and are very happy with this arrangement. We were concerned about the water in the door because our house water filtering system is questionable but the refrigerator filter has worked fine and really like the cold water and ice feature.

We purchased this model in July 2017, we requested white and was ordered from the factory with 2 1/2 week delivery. When the unit arrived and was installed, it never worked. We called Whirlpool after 2 days of the unit not working, they arranged for a local service company to come a troubleshoot the unit. It was determined to be a complete cooling system failure. We then had to go back to the distributor that we bought the unit from to figure out what to do. The distributor provided a temporary unit to us, off of their showroom floor, as we no longer had a working refrigerator in the house. Whirlpool said that they would replace the unit, but it must again be built by the factory so another 2 1/2 weeks. The replacement unit arrived after about 3 weeks. We have never even received a simple apology from Whirlpool, no concession from them in any way for our inconvenience. To do over we would not purchase any product from Whirlpool. The new refrigerator is much noiser than what we had replaced, so it will take time to get used to it. Overall due to the lack of responsibility and customer service shown by Whirlpool , we can not recommend their products or their company.
