Purchased all new appliances when we built our new home. Selected Kitchenaid due to having previous experience with the brand. Have been disappointed with the microwave. The time it takes to soften butter and heat water is long. It doesn't pop popcorn well, always has many unpopped kernels left in the bag (tried several brands of popcorn). Overall we have been disappointed with this microwave.

love the microwave. It is so quiet. I did a whole kitchen make over and have had very good luck with my old kitchen aid appliances that is why I decided to replace with the same brand. I am still waiting for my refrigerator and double oven free standing store that are backordered in the new stainless steel finish. I also bought a new dishwasher that is kitchen aid.
